Review of Motions: Naturally You!

So this week I’d like to turn an eye to Motions’ line of products for natural hair, Naturally You!  I heard good things.  I definitely used to use Motions on my hair before I went natural so I was definitely curious about the products.

The mission statement of Motions is:

Extraordinary beauty. Fabulous style. Limitless shine. Since 1993, Motions has become synonymous with creating innovative salon-quality products for modern women of color.

Celebrating your rich and unique beauty is at the heart of what we do. Our haircare collection is specially designed with you in mind. We understand that your hair is a reflection of your innate power, allowing you to present yourself as a confident woman in motion-fashion forward and unabashedly fabulous. With Motions, the possibilities are endless!

This collection, which reaches out to celebrate the beauty of natural hair, includes a Moisturizing Cleanser, Smoothing Conditioner, Deep Conditioning Masque, Curl Defining Cream, Curl Hydrating Pudding and Radiating Gloss. All of which ranging between $6-7 a piece, there’s something everyone can work into their hair routine. Being that the products are enriched with coconut oil, shea butter and avocado oils, you can ensure your hair will stay hydrated and  give your curls some light definition. This line can even help you achieve and maximize certain styles. Know up front that if you are searching for an all-natural product, then this line may not be for you, but I find this line to be an excellent option for naturalistas looking for products that work but won’t hurt your wallet.
