Three Ways to Travel In Style This Summer

Summertime: a reason for me to exercise my wanderlust. This is one of my favorite seasons and like many, I enjoy taking trips during this time. The sun is out, the weather is warm and the sun dresses are in full flowing force. In my travels I’ve learned a few things. But, one of the most important ones is: “Travel smart and always travel stylish.” This summer, that’s my main goal and there are a few ways for me to achieve it easily:

Don’t let your luggage get lost among the boring bags on the carousel.
Coming straight from the brain of Miuccia Prada is this strapped tropical-print suitcase perfect for impromptu island travel.

The days of schlepping huge bottles of products are long gone.
With the abundance of products that are perfectly sized for travel, there’s no need to stuff huge bottles of your favorite products when you’re on the go. If it doesn’t come in travel size, grab a few empty travel bottles from the drugstore and fill them up with enough product to last you.

Be ready for anything when you pack a few of these tiny treasures into your toiletry bag: Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes, Kiehl’s Creme de Corpos, Marvis toothpase, a perfume atomizer and a Gillette Venus Snap razor.

Look good, feel good.
The last thing you want is to be uncomfortable on the plane en route to your destination. This causes all sorts of stress and aggravation. Be sure to dress comfortably, with an option to cover up in case you catch a chill.

Frequent Flier

Grab a bottle of water and your favorite lip balm before you board the plane and keep them handy so you can stay hydrated – those high altitudes do a number on your skin. And be sure to have a magazine or your iPhone, iPad or tablet fully charged so that you can stay entertained and keep your cool as you count down the miles and minutes until you’re there yet.
