Many may know her as the songstress behind “Breathe Me,” which still has heavy rotation on my iTunes library. However, this Australian singer-songwriter, named Sia Furler hasn’t faded away since the success of that track. Her latest album, 1000 Forms of Fear, is one of her more poppy albums. She’s challenged herself to make a pop album without actually being a pop star and in my opinion, she pulls it off.
It’s easy to let this entire album play on repeat without even noticing. Her vocals and lyrics combined with music make for an album that gives you a bit of connection with Sia and something to put on regardless of your mood. She’s sharing a bit of herself through 1000 Forms of Fear and for that, it definitely deserves a listen. Not to mention, the girl dancing in the “Chandelier” video absolutely kills it!
